with Jana, Paula & Yari I August 20 - 23, 2026 at Hof Jakob, Jacobsdorf (Mark)
Let's enjoy together 4 days in nature with friends, music, body & breath practices, sweatlodge, plants baths & a night ceremony under the stars.
At the height of summer, just after Lughnasa in the Celtic calendar, we give thanks for what has ripened and share the gifts of life with the medicine of the cactus in a full night ceremony under the stars. To prepare for this deep journey with the mystery together, we purify with a sweatlodge ceremony on Thursday evening, somatic breath & body practices on Friday morning, and a delicious plant bath just before we head into our work of the night. After the night of prayer, we are offering integration practices and 1:1 talks throughout the day on Saturday to gently land again and to have time to share about our experiences and insights. In the afternoon, we get together for Yoga Nidra & Soundjourney, resting and grounding together. After a good night sleep we close the weekend retreat with somatic body & breath practices with live music and a closing circle to collect the jewels of our experience with the master plant.
This weekend retreat is a call to gather with friends and friends-to-be, to embark together on a night of ritual with the cactus. We specifically designed this weekend to not just meet for the ritual itself but to spend a whole weekend together preparing for this profound journey in a safe way, and to have time to get to know everyone and for intentions to unfold. Likewise, we offer space together afterwards to be able to collect the jewels of this journey for our lives. It's a wonderful opportunity to study this medicine deeper with seasoned facilitators and friends of life and mystery and also a great way for first timers to be taken by the hand and in the container of community to explore the magic of life together.
Join us for this celebration of life, reconnection to the wisdom of our hearts & deep connection to the earth. We are opening a space to relax our bodies and minds, to sing and speak from our hearts and to learn from each other as we prepare together with music and body practices to enter the mystery of the night of praying around the fire under the stars.
This summer celebration of life is hosted by Jana with special guests Yari & Paula sharing the sacred wisdom of the Andes.
Supporting a state of meditation and self-awareness, this journey can help to clear post-traumatic stress and enable a more heart-centered way of being. It can bring limiting thoughts and beliefs to the surface, and what no longer serves our highest truth has the opportunity to be released. Purifying and balancing the body, mind, and spirit, it facilitates the opening of the mystery that lives inside our hearts, and the expansion of consciousness. We feel more lightness in our life, and a deeper connection to Mother Earth.
The prayer under the stars will be guided by Paula and Yari
“We dedicate our lives to the study of the Andean Cosmovision and its master plants. Inspired by different traditions, a growing medicine family and local plants, our altar seeks to honour life, to learn and grow with humbleness, doing our best for the earth and the future generations who will inherit her. Focused on sustainable living, balance & simplicity, we are walking a path of prayer and manifestation of our dreams, sharing all that we have with those we meet.”
