What is Body Mind Yoga?

When I offer yoga, I do it with all my heart and from the love and understanding that has grown in my body and mind during my 25 years of practice

My yoga sessions follow the traditional lineage and alignment principles of Hatha yoga and yet are informed by my practice of yoga as an earth-bound woman, remembering and applying the forces of the elements and laws of nature.  In my yoga practice, no matter if during asana, meditation, mudra or mantra practice, I dance with the mystery to remember the magic in everyday life. I am deeply inspired by somatic schools and healing arts.

I call it Body Mind Yoga.

A Body-Mind Yoga practice involves all parts of ourselves. Our physical, our emotional and our mental body. We play with the light of our awareness through breath, shape, form and dissolution of form, energy activation, challenges, and deep surrender and relaxation.
